This skirt is flowy, twirly and really fun to wear! It’s waistband is a necktie that fastens with a vintage button!
Fabric Mug (unzipping)

This mug is hand built from wheel thrown parts with a handful of press molded elements taken from some of my favorite fabrics and sewing notions stirred into the mix.
Sadly, it has been smashed…but it lives on nicely in these photos does it not?

Owl Sake Set
This cute little owl invites you to sit down and enjoy a relaxing taste of sake with your friends. She has found a home but I would be glad to make one for you that is similar.
This sake set is made from white earthenware clay, it is food safe and could be put into the dishwasher if you must but if you ask her she will tell you that she would prefer to be hand washed.
Rather than using glaze the surface is treated with white terra sigillata (a solution made from the finest clay particles that leaves a sexy luster/sheen without the use of glaze) and the drawing is enhanced with dark brown stain and a dilute clear glaze.
The bottle holds 1 cup of liquid and is 5.5″ tall and each cup will hold 1/8th cup, so you can fill the cups up several times before the bottle is empty.

Pink, red and yellow leather grasp green and yellow marbles and dangle asymmetrically from a wonderful tangle of leather strands that hold the necklace lovingly onto your neck.

I love making garments from neckties it is like a puzzle fitting them together so that they create an active composition that will flatter the figure.
I also really enjoy the idea of taking a masculine business world symbol and turning it into something that is fanciful and feminine.
Because I do not use a pattern, and all my materials are vintage neck ties, each item I make in this way is entirely unique…no two will ever come out exactly the same, and I love to explore new ways to put them together.
