Sculptural metaphor illustrating cycles of birth and death, decay and renewal.
This sculpture stands 6″ tall and is about 4 square”s wide.
“Laundry”, is hand sculpted from low-fire red earthenware, and the surface is painted with colored stains, engobes, velvet under-glaze and a thinned, clear, over-glaze.
The laundry line is made from string and the butterflies antenna is made from wire.
